Brand re-fresh for accountancy group covering Hertfordshire.

The brief from this successful accountancy partnership was to initially re-fresh their logo, however on further exploration, this is a business that is growing and evolving. Acquiring multiple smaller

practices along the way, the managing director wished to create a strong and reliable ‘group’ of businesses.

LMJ Group was born acknowledging the company’s traditional past, but looking towards an exciting future which celebrates integrity, diversity and expertise. Rickards Design supported the team to explore their values firstly, then agreed on an appropriate tone of voice for the business.

This led to developing the right visual identity to move forward with. Creating a sophisticated colour palette of a deep ‘blue-grey’ and neutrals, with the addition of a warm highlight colour in copper.

Being a strong female-led business, the managing director felt this colour palette was a great balance of professional, but feminine. This informed an exploration of typeface choices and the overall logo design and layout, being clean and modern; but also striking a softened overall feel.

LMJ Group have now expanded to include 4 businesses and they have taken the logo and brand elements created by Rickards Design, and gone on to create their website and other branding themselves, whilst using core brand principles.
