First permanent office for innovative construction software start-up, based in Staines-Upon-Thames.

After working previously with Rickards Design the owner of Chime Software came to Emma to help design the new office based in Staines-upon-Thames for his latest venture.
This space was almost ready to go and just needed some slight reconfigurations to make it work for the business, alongside some clever space planning to ensure all functions could be accommodated.
Chime wanted a space that really reflected their bold brand colour scheme and logo design, being playful with its application within the space. The creation of a feature timber slat wall to the open collaboration area used shapes from the Chime logo to create a fun shape, inspired by the Thames and reflecting the flow of information the company’s software creates.
The entrance area has a curved timber screen to separate from the open plan, whilst crittal glazing partitions have divided the office into a number of small focus rooms and a large project-based collaborative meeting room.
Construction has taken place in phases as the company expands, and further development is planned for the future of this exciting, innovative company.
